Neighborhood maps

Neighborhood areas, selected boundaries, address coordinates and collection progress are stored with your account. They are not public search history. Map previews show property summaries such as address, value, building characteristics, listing photos and latest recorded buyer and sale information. Full property responses, which may include names and lending records, are also held in a private, size-limited cache so reports can open without a second lookup. These cache entries expire after 24 hours and are removed during hourly cleanup or earlier when space is needed. Encrypted recovery backups can retain older cache copies for up to 35 days. Selecting a house adds its report to the historical archive and your private search history. Cached property facts may be reused without revealing which member requested them.

With Search as I move enabled, moving or zooming the map can queue nearby-address lookups. Turning it off requires selecting Search this area. Pausing stops new work; requests already in flight may finish. Closing the page does not cancel a queued area.

The Aerial view loads visible imagery tiles from Douglas County GIS. The Streets view loads visible map tiles from OpenStreetMap or the configured street-map provider. The selected provider receives your IP address, the requested map tiles and our website origin. Address discovery sends the starting address or selected geographic area to a geographic data provider. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Make No Mistakes, Inc. handles information used by whohouse.io. whohouse.io is a service for viewing property records and related public data.

Information we collect

When you search an address, the address and the property-record response returned for that search are saved on our server. When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive the account name, email address and profile image that provider shares with us. Your search history and saved listings are associated with your account and are not published as a public directory.

The archive stores the records needed to operate the service, including the requested address, retrieval time, source response and cached image derivatives. We do not store your provider password. Payment details, when billing is enabled, are handled by Stripe and are not stored by whohouse.io.

Recent searches are stored on our server for your account or guest session. Your browser stores your light or dark appearance preference locally. You can clear that browser preference at any time.

How information is used

We use saved records to display property pages, maintain your history and saved listings, prevent abuse, improve reliability and generate service previews. Property information comes from public or third-party data sources and may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect.

Public records and third parties

Addresses and property records displayed by whohouse.io can be public information. Do not enter private notes, credentials or other sensitive information into the address field. Links, maps, photos and source data may be provided by third parties; their own privacy policies and terms apply when you leave whohouse.io or open a third-party resource.

Cookies and account controls

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect the sign-in process and track the free-search allowance. Daily usage is stored on our server. We retain Stripe customer and subscription references, billing status and payment-event identifiers to manage Premium; we do not receive or store full card numbers.

You can change your display name, clear your search history and remove saved homes in Account. Clearing history does not reset the daily allowance or delete the underlying property records.

Retention and security

Saved property responses are retained so historical records remain available. Account history and saved homes are private. A previously collected property link can be opened by someone else without a search credit; it does not reveal who searched or saved it. We use access controls, restricted server storage and encrypted connections. Guest allowance and recent-search records are retained for up to eight days. Temporary guest photo-access records are retained for up to 30 days. A non-address-specific flag records whether a visitor has searched before. Account records remain until removed or a deletion request is processed.

For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, contact agent@mistakes.io. We may need to verify your identity before acting on an account request. We may update this policy when the service changes; the effective date identifies the current version.
